They were handmade with love in Kampala by a human trafficking survivor. She loves working with Ankole and is proud that it represents her country in the world.
Ankole is a natural product known for its unique and beautiful color variations, ranging from ivory black to caramel and creamy white. Like fingerprints, no two polished pieces are alike.
The pieces of jewelery from Purpose Jewelry are sustainably produced and lovingly handcrafted by women who have been freed from human trafficking. Through the non-profit organization International Sanctuary, the women receive a fair wage, training and holistic care.
